Director of Audit Services
The Office of Audit Services (OAS) evaluates governance, enterprise risk management, and control regarding achievement of objectives, reliability and integrity of financial and operational information, effectiveness and efficiency of operations, safeguarding assets, and compliance.
This position will report functionally to the Montana University System Director of Assurance and Enterprise Risk and administratively (day to day operations) to the President of Montana State University.
The Director will serve as the chief audit executive for the university and provide leadership and coordination of internal and external audit operations for all campuses and agencies of the University. The Director is responsible for providing independent, objective appraisals of governance, risk management, and control. The Director also provides consulting and advisory services as needed and conducts special audit reviews.
The Director exhibits sound judgement in identifying and recommending management improvements and determines when expertise provided by outsourced audit resources is needed.
