Federal Taxation Committee

Montana CPAs can affect the profession at a national level. Your business knowledge is a critical asset to our national leaders and members of this committee are a pipeline to our Congressmen. Let your voice be heard!

Purpose: 

• Proactively respond to legislative proposals and/or IRS activities;
• Create and maintain open lines of communication with our congressmen both when they’re in DC and Montana;
• Share information, activity, law changes, etc. with members of the society. Notify of CPE opportunities regarding relevant subjects or help provide informational resources for members. 
• Communicate with the Professional Development Task Force about any requests we may have for course topics regarding Federal taxes.
