Accounting and Finance Supervisor - Board of Housing

This position is the Accounting and Finance Manager for the Board of Housing (Board). The Board is administratively attached to the Department of Commerce and is one of three component units of the Commerce Housing Division, known in the community and conducting business as Montana Housing. The position is responsible for oversight of the Board’s bond and investment programs, cash management and accounting functions. Duties include planning, directing and coordinating the Board’s bonding programs; managing the Board’s investment portfolio, fiscal activities and accounting systems; preparing annual financial statements; and managing the Board’s budget. The position reports to the Commerce Chief Financial Officer and works in close collaboration with the Board’s Executive Director and Executive Leadership team. This position directly manages 2 high level professionals and indirectly supervises 3 technical and professional accounting positions in the section.
