Speaker Proposals

Interested in Speaking at an MTCPA Event?

MTCPA welcomes speaker proposals for conferences and events throughout the year. If you’d like to be considered, please email your speaker proposal and/or media kit—including your honorarium expectations—to info@montana.cpa.

Proposals should include:

  • Name and Contact Information
  • Speaking Topic(s)
    A short description of your proposed keynote topic(s) and why it’s relevant to CPAs or the broader business community
  • Learning Objectives
    2–3 key takeaways for attendees
  • Preferred Speaking Style
    (E.g., motivational, humorous, educational, interactive)
  • Link to a Speaking Demo or Sample Video(if available)
  • Previous Speaking Experience
    Events or audiences you’ve presented to
  • Honorarium Request(if applicable)
  • Travel Requirements(if applicable)

We select speakers based on topic relevance, audience interest, and budget availability. Honorariums are considered and offered based on each event’s budget.

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, with most selections made 6–8 months in advance of each event. We’ll contact you directly if your proposal is a good fit for an upcoming program.

In line with our commitment to knowledge sharing and member engagement, sponsoring a webinar with MTCPA positions your organization as a trusted resource for Montana’s accounting professionals.

What’s Included:
Our Sponsored Webinars offer a turnkey way to connect with CPAs across the state. Each 50-minute session includes:

  • Presentation by your expert speaker and content
  • Setup, registration, and marketing handled by MTCPA
  • Prior review and approval of your webinar content
  • Your logo on all promotional materials sent to members
  • Option to include a short video (1–2 minutes) or written profile in the follow-up email to attendees
  • Post-event attendee list with names and companies (contact info excluded)

Cost Structure (based on final attendance):

  • 1–25 attendees: $250
  • 26–50 attendees: $500
  • 51–100 attendees: $750
  • 101+ attendees: $1,000

Opportunities are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
