The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for an Internal Auditor. The Internal Audit group concentrates on providing MDT management with audits designed to add value and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department’s operations, internal controls and compliance. This position conducts performance, compliance and financial audits, special projects, and investigations in compliance with applicable standards. Performs planning, field work, and report results to MDT administrators and program managers, taxpayers, and others. Reports to the Internal Audit Manager. This position is part of a career ladder with career advancement opportunities.
