Experienced Tax Accountant
Tax Accountant Colleen Black & Company, P.C. – Billings, Montana
Job Duties
- Preparation of federal and state income taxes for individuals and businesses
- Conducting basic tax research and planning
- Small business bookkeeping
- Assists with client communication as needed
- Prepare calculations, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for small businesses
- Proactively identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline the tax preparation processes
- Assist with special projects
Required Qualifications
- Computer skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to work in fast paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude, and high ethical standards
- Basic knowledge with United States federal and state income tax matters
Preferred Qualifications
- Tax experience in public accounting
- CPA or CPA Candidate
- Experience with Drake Tax or similar tax software
- Basic knowledge with United States federal and state income tax matters
- Flexibility to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
- High proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft based programs
