A well-capitalized private investment group is acquiring an established CPA firm in Northwest Montana and seeking a licensed Montana CPA to serve as Managing Director post-close.

This is a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurially minded CPA who wants real autonomy to run and grow a practice without the risk of buying one themselves. The firm has a strong recurring client base, consistent revenue growth year over year, and an existing owner who will remain through the transition to ensure a smooth handoff of client relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day to day operations of the firm post-close
• Build and maintain client relationships through and beyond the ownership transition
• Oversee tax preparation, consulting, and accounting services
• Work alongside ownership on strategic growth initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Active Montana CPA license in good standing
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Entrepreneurially minded — you want ownership mentality, not just a job
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Someone who wants to build something, not just maintain it

What We’re Offering

• Base salary $95-120K commensurate with experience
• Performance bonus up to $30K based on revenue retention and growth
• Total compensation potential $125-140K
