Help Showcase the Value of Licensed CPAs Across Montana

August 03, 2026

This summer, you may notice new billboards appearing in Billings and Missoula with a simple but powerful message:

"Numbers You Can Trust. Licensed Professionals Make Sure of It."

These billboards are part of a statewide public awareness campaign from the Alliance for Responsible Professional Licensing (ARPL), a national coalition representing licensed professions, including CPAs. The campaign is designed to remind Montanans that the financial systems, buildings, bridges, and public spaces they rely on every day are made possible by qualified, licensed professionals committed to protecting the public.

Professional licensing often goes unnoticed - and that's a good thing. People simply expect the work of licensed professionals to be accurate, ethical, and trustworthy. This campaign helps shine a light on the rigorous standards, education, and accountability that make that trust possible.

Join the Campaign

If you see one of the CPA billboards while you're out and about, we'd love your help spreading the message.

Take a photo of the billboard - or better yet, take a selfie with it - and share it on LinkedIn or Facebook. Tag the Montana Society of CPAs so we can celebrate the profession alongside you and help amplify the campaign.

Locations

  • Missoula
    • Facing East
    • Catches drivers heading west on I-90 from Missoula to Spokane, WA
  • Billings
    • Facing West
    • Just West of Exit 446, the first exit coming into Billings from the West
    • Catches shoppers on the way to Costco

Safety First

Please only take photos from a safe and legal location. Never stop on the shoulder of a highway, enter restricted areas, or put yourself or others at risk to get a photo. If you can safely pull into a nearby parking lot or public area with the billboard in the background, that's perfect.

Together, we can help remind Montanans that licensed CPAs help make the numbers they rely on every day trustworthy - and that professional licensing continues to play an important role in protecting the public.
