Butte accountant wins prestigious award

The Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants (MTCPA) is proud to announce that Annette Hill, CPA, Principal at Pinion (Butte office), has been honored with the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) at the 111th Annual Conference held recently at Fairmont.

The Distinguished Service Award is the highest honor bestowed by the MTCPA, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the accounting profession, demonstrated exceptional leadership, and provided outstanding service to the community and the Society.

Annette Hill has been a stalwart in the accounting profession for over 25 years, showcasing unparalleled dedication and expertise. As Principal at Pinion, she has led numerous initiatives that have not only advanced her firm but also positively impacted the broader accounting community in Montana.

Throughout her career, Hill has been actively involved in various MTCPA committees and initiatives, contributing her time and knowledge to further the mission of the Society. Her peers describe her as a visionary leader, a tireless advocate for the accounting profession, and a compassionate mentor who is always willing to support and guide others. 

Receiving the DSA at the 111th Annual Conference underscores Hill’s outstanding contributions and the high regard in which she is held by her colleagues. The event brought together professionals from across the state to celebrate achievements, share knowledge, and foster a spirit of community and collaboration within the accounting field.
