Helena Food Share, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit food pantry serving the greater Helena area since 1987, is seeking proposals from qualified independent CPA firms to provide annual financial statement audit services and IRS Form 990 preparation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Services will cover both Helena Food Share, Inc. and the Helena Food Share Holding Company, established in connection with a New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation. The engagement includes an independent combined audit in accordance with GAAS, reporting to the Finance Committee and Board, communication of internal control recommendations, attendance at a board meeting to present findings, and preparation of separate Form 990 filings for each entity. The contract may be renewable for 2–3 additional years.
