Annual Conference Planning Task Force

The Annual Conference Planning Committee is dedicated to organizing and executing MTCPA's Annual Conference, held each June. This conference is the premier event for our members, offering unparalleled opportunities for professional development, networking, and community building.

Our primary goal is to deliver a high-quality, engaging conference that addresses the diverse needs and interests of CPAs across Montana. We aim to provide an event that combines cutting-edge educational content with meaningful networking opportunities, all within a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

Committee members play an essential role in the success of the MTCPA Annual Conference. Their responsibilities include:

  • Speaker and Topic Selection: Identify and secure prominent keynote speakers and experts in the field to deliver high-impact presentations. Select relevant and timely topics for breakout sessions that cater to the varied interests of our attendees.
  • Sponsorship and Exhibitor Recruitment: Actively recruit sponsors and exhibitors whose products and services align with the interests and needs of conference attendees.
  • On-Site Assistance: Provide hands-on support during the conference, including managing registration, assisting speakers, coordinating sessions, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the event. Be available to address any attendee needs or issues that arise during the conference.

Time Commitment

Approximately 1 hour conference call each month October through February, plus May & June, and attendance at the conference.
